Okay, so the game has been released now and there are many more levels to play around with. There have also been some new updates recently as Sina and I have discovered some skips, glitches, and movement tech. I think it's really important to get this board up to date in order to start uploading ILs and get rules in place for certain things as there have been a ton of new developments. Some of these are game-changing to a point that I feel they should be addressed as soon as possible, preferably before the boards gets fixed to avoid any possible hassle later down the line.
First one: There is a method to perform file manipulation to start the game with all the Move Master abilities (and theoretically beat the game without having to collect a single record), which would be rather horrible for any% as the method to do it is rather convoluted and takes a lot of setup. This method should be banned in the main any% category and possibly have its own category to show just how crazy this game can get.
There is also move that you get extremely late in the game called the Glider. The glider lets you cross huge distances with ease with the help of some movement tech called super jumps. It trivializes a lot of movement as it's extremely fast as well. It moves as fast as a sprinting jump, meaning that there's no point to do precise jump tech when you can just glide. The IL boards for each level should be split between glider and no glider for every level that doesn't require its use. If you want to see the difference, compare Sina's Soundscape PB to the Soundscape IL with the glider I did as a proof of concept Sina's PB: Glider route:
I would also like to see some "100%" categories of various sorts for completeness sake, but I think that goes without saying. I can't think of anything else ridiculously important right now. I also might make a quick movement guide in the future just so people have an idea how to perform some of the less intuitive things in the game. I can't wait to start filling this board with times.
