Hello, I would like to know how to record NES game play and have it output to a HDMI monitor, although I can use a CRT if I must.

emulator or upscaler(or a cheap converter but expect quality loss)+ hdmi capture card

How would I record NES to output to an CRT?? I would just like to know all of my options to make a decision before I purchase a upscaler.

composite card:

1. you have the composite cable coming from the NES and it plugs in a splitter of some kind
2. from the splitter you have one male-male composite cable going to your crt and another male-male going from the splitters to a composite capture card

hdmi card:

1. composite from nes to splitter
2. from splitter a male-male composite to converter/upscaler and another male-male to crt
3. hdmi from converter/upscaler to capture card
