Use this thread if you have a question about any aspect of the game.

Q: Do you need a timer in your video? A: No, but it is helpful.

Q: How do I record a run on mobile? A: Either use a screen mirroring app, then record with obs from your PC, or a screen recording app.

If you click the hint button, and then wash the board with the refresh button, does it invalidate your run? (I pressed it with my elbow on accident, four times) :(

United States

I don't see why it would. After all, you are refreshing it and end up completing the level without the hint.

Of course, I'm not the final authority on this, so don't take my word as the answer :)

Using hints does not invalidate your run. The only thing that matters is getting the star on every level.

Do you have to clear data before a run? Like, if I have a pack completed already, do I need to erase my data for a run to be valid?

It’s up to personal preference. Erasing your progress before hand makes it slightly easier to verify your run, but it can still be verified if you don’t erase your progress. I personally don’t erase my progress, but, for example, MrTacoEater does reset his progress

India

Nope, you don't. But if you do, make sure you go through the video yourself. Uploading a run that isn't consistent with the rules will make you look suspicious hahaha.

But yeah, make sure you don't skip levels on accident or something.

Hey, hope this is the right place for this! I looked around but couldn't find information on it anywhere. I just got back into this game recently, and it seems like there may be a gap between now and the last runs/posts made under this game.

In the settings there are options for "Flow Cutting" (if existing flows can be cut by new ones) and "Flow Linking" (not needing to pick your finger up if colors are right next to each other on all levels) being on or off. I tend to play with Flow Cutting off and Flow Linking on because it's faster, but I wanted to see if there was rules for/against these specific settings before submitting anything :)

United Kingdom

No there are no reules surrounding it. Use whichever is the fastest for you. Linking, although could be faster, if you make a mistake will cost you a lot of time. But yeah go for it there arent any rules surrounding it.
