Isn't "All bosses" a questionable category? As I understand it the run is guaranteed to be at least 9 hours unless there is a skip I am not aware of as Bearger won't spawn until around Day 70.

I think all bosses should have a leaderboard, but there should definately be some changes to it. for starters the rule that you must play as Wilson seems completely arbitrary and pointless. The game gives you several characters to start with, why would you impose a limitation on yourself if there is no need to.

You (as in the mods here) should add more categories. killing dragonfly is a somewhat popular category and it doesn't make sense that it's not on this page.

Please add a category for each boss and allow to start in season of said boss. Also a category for taming a beffalo, a category to craft all buildables minus boss blueprints and allow any characters at any attempts. Since this is Don't Starve Together we can attempt all bosses with multiple people right? I need to know asap as I'd like to attempt this on Ps4 and want to know if I can do it up to 6 players.

Will most likely add each boss as an IL and attempt to add a variable for all seasons available in the game as well as finally adding multiple characters to pick from when doing a run.

As for stuff like "taming a beefalo" i'll have to say no, because that is way too arbitrary and/or gimmicky which means it doesn't belong on these leaderboards.

And finally speedrun.com supports up to 16 players for a run submissions, so yes, you can have however many players co-oping with you up to that amount.

All of the required changes will be done within a few upcoming days, so be patient and have fun attempting your run meanwhile.

I'm pretty sure speedrun.com has no way of supporting a character selection for multiple players, so for DST i'm not going to try and enforce people to play only as a Wilson. I just finished editing the rules in this regard, so now people can play whichever character they prefer as long as they aren't modified in any way (if that's even possible).

Thanks for changing Character rule. On Ps4 you can't edit their stats at all. On pc you could with console commands. Sorry got a couple more questions. So if I live stream the event on YouTube will that be good enough for a submission? How do I get this website to show I'm live streaming that event? Can we kill the bosses any way we choose?

Stream wherever you feel like, after you're done you'll simply have to submit VOD of the said stream. Assuming you're the one who'll be creating a server you'll have to show that all the world settings are default as i mentioned in the rules and then you can proceed with creating a world and killing all the required bosses in any way you feel like.

Also i guess it's safe to assume that there're no console commands available on ps4 at all? In any case, i'd like to make a note (quite obvious one) to any other possible newcomers that using console commands on any platform where those are available is prohibited. If the full all bosses run is too long for you then please don't try to make it shorter by blatantly cheating. ILs are coming soon so you can wait for those.

All the changes that i thought were necessary have been applied to the leaderboards.

Kinda unsure about how adding a subcategory for world presets might work out, but Don't Starve series don't really have an active speedrunning community anyway, so i'll probably get to give this another thought way later on when more runs might pop out as well as some feedback from other people.

What are the rules exactly for the level leaderboard bosses? Can we set the same season as the seasonal bosses?

With the final release of the A New Reign update releasing soon, will there be any changes?

IL rules are basically the same as the 'All Bosses' ones, i just have not bothered yet to paste a tiny bit edited version of them to IL boards, but will do that some time soon. And in regards to season settings question, if you look at the main and IL leaderboards right now, you can see 'default/custom world preset' variable, so yes, you can set your new world in any way klei allows you to.

Although now that you asked this question i'm again thinking that 'custom world preset' might be easily "abusable" in a sense that you can probably set way too many things in your favor from the very beginning making everything super trivial, but i haven't yet messed around with the game myself, so i can't say anything on that for sure, but if that is proven to be that way as the time goes by, then a change to 'custom season preset' would probably be required, but i'm gonna wait out and see how it turns out to be for now. Other people's opinions on said subject are also welcome at any point.

I'm not actively looking into updates that are coming out, but once anything requiring a change is out, then the said change will be made sooner or later.

I agree that the custom world preset would take away a lot of the challenge so I think custom seasons are a better solution.

also Custom world preset good idea but i think you should add season spawn as another chose or be allowed in base because like Klaus if spawn in on fall have to wait a long time to season to change but if you spawn in on winter you get better show of skill and ant lion to she a summer boss so plz add a season chose or make it allowed in a base run also i think in a all boss run spawning in on summer so you can kill ant lion then get all the other season boss as fast as possible is the best way to do it

There is no mention of antlion, poison birchnut or krampus (birchnut and krampus aren't very fun, but antlion is a seasonal boss so I think it's worth adding). I will keep attempting runs, but definitely consider adding more, shorter categories with specified world options to minimize idle time and create consistency. Finally, fighting toadstool and krampus twice is pretty tedious, perhaps just make it a requirement to fight the misery/enraged versions. Thanks in advance :)
