The previous rules for 100% were a bit unclear, as it stated that all enemies must be killed. That's not possible with turrets, so the 100% rules have been updated to be more well-defined:
100% criteria:
- Must collect all items that can be picked up.
- Must secure all rooms that can be secured.
- Must rescue all hostages.
- Must kill D/Generation.
As the loading times between rooms vary depending on CPU cycles, the rules have been changed for emulated DOS runs to require fixed 3000 cycles. That approximates the loading times for the PC:s at the time, and the first WR is recorded in that speed as well.
Note that game speed is not affected by cycles, only loading times.
After many years, this cool game has finally been made easy to speedrun. Under guides and resources you'll find a game launcher, strats, TAS and save files (even though the included emulator has savestates).
