This guide is more in-depth, it explains the concept of hobsliding, goes over the details of how to trigger and maintain one, and explores several different methods with which hobslides are obtained. Once you have mastered the basics displayed in this tutorial, it will be much easier to understand and learn from what is happening in top tier runs on the leaderboards.

This is really difficult and I would suggest just using machs unless you want a 38 or better. You can do non-blind gate clip to turn this from a 45s timesave to a 30s timesave, then just pick and choose what you do and don't want to do from this video, you would have to cut a LOT for this route to not save time, but the potential that these levels have is so great which is really cool.
