In 2022, many glitches have been found in this game and records of both categories (All CDs and All CDs No Damage) have been rapidly improved. Now we can even skip the boss battle. This glitch would lead to better records but at the same time decrease the difficulty of the speedrun of this game so much. Especially in All CDs No Damage, it would become much easier to beat the game. Therefore I would like to revise categories so that the people with various level of listening skills can enjoy the speedrun of this game. Three categories are planned at this moment;

Any%: All CDs category in which we can use glitches Any% Glitchless: All CDs category in which we cannot use glitches Any% Glitchless No Damage: All CDs No Damage category in which we cannot use glitches

I will provide the detailed rule of each category in the next month. If you have some suggestion, please reply to this thread by March 13rd.

[日本語] 2022年に入ってから数々のグリッチが発見され、All CDs並びにAll CDs No Damageのタイムは日々大幅に短縮されています。そしてこの度、ボスとの戦闘もスキップ可能であることが判明しました。ボス戦スキップにより更なる短縮が見込まれますが、一方でこのグリッチの採用はスピードランの難度を大きく下げるものでもあります。特にAll CDs No Damageカテゴリにおいては、ボス戦の有無によって完走率が大きく異なることでしょう。 そこで今回、初心者から熟達者まで各走者の耳力に合わせたカテゴリを設定すべく、カテゴリの再整備を行うことといたしました。予定しているカテゴリとその概要は下記のとおりです。

Any%: グリッチが使用できるAll CDs Any% Glitchless: グリッチが使用できないAll CDs Any% Glitchless No Damage: グリッチが使用できないAll CDs No Damage

3月中には各カテゴリの詳細なルールを作成する予定としております。本件に関してご提案等ございましたら3/13までに当スレッドにご返信願います。

Today I updated categories, rules and Guide for Speedrun! Along with this update, I restored PBs of Any% Glitchless and Any% Glitchless No Damage to ones of All CDs and All CDs No Damage in 2021 because the glitches prohibited in Glitchless categories had not been found at that time.
