0:49 is finally here. I didn't think it would be possible without a perfect run, but this run is proof that's far from reality. The first half is pretty rough in both execution and bad enemy patterns due to the seed, but the rest of the run (outside of Tantra 2) was immaculate. Even with a bad Tantra 2, this run saves so much time over the last run that it edges out the 0:49. I think 0:58:xx RTA could be possible...

This run uses seed manipulation, which lets us determine the enemy, item and shop patterns. The RNG after the white flash progresses in a linear fashion until you select New Game. My seed range is 191-196 (reset on 192), which is a 100% chance for a good Kanaphage, 80% chance for a good DR3, 60% chance for a good DR2, a guaranteed Celtis/Mandau Blade in MidSector Mall, and a good spread of item boxes. Unfortunately, every viable seed in this range has DR1 Pattern A, which is the one with the Nuggets, so you will be resetting even more because of bad Nugget luck.

This run was done on seed 195, one of the worst viable seeds in the range, but it somehow worked out.
