Hi, I'm new to this. I would like to find out why the field events and everything else isn't competed in? Is it because there is a physical cap to these events or just no one could be bothered?

Because they're not timed events. Also, it's not that complicated to get the maximum score in most of them. I bet you can jump 9.30m in the Men's Long Jump without much trouble
