so recently alot of the submitted runs had wrong settings, obviously if these settings have major impact on the run like difficulty or dino count the run is invalid
if these settings have no impact to the run (fuel consumption is to high - for runs that don't use any kind of fuel), we verified these runs in the past
if these settings only have minor impact to the run (fuel consumption is to high - but you have so much fuel + the run is so short, that it doesn't matter), i wouldn't mind to verify a run but i would ask the runner to provide a calculation or other kind of proof that the amount of fuel that is used is enough to make wrong fuel setting obsolete
if you are referring to the run i declined for low xp and tame multipliers that also had high fuel consumption. I of course agree with you if the run was a full run or apex but the was a quick auto turret which does have an impact on the run due to the use of fabricators etc.
also as a side note can you please scroll through your settings slower in runs, cause its extremely hard to see your settings even on 0.25 speed. and it does explicitly say in the rules to make it easily visible to mods.
i also declined some in the past, for that reason.
the thing is even if you only have 5 gasoline in a fabricator (15min/gas) you already have a powered fabricator for 75min. thats what i mean with "obsolete fuel consumption". cause if a run only takes lets say 30min and all fuel consumpting structures have fuel for 60min, it wouldn't matter if fuel consumption is 1.0 or 5.0.
one more thing: fuel consumption is NOT only gasoline, this also modifies the amount of wood needed to fire up campfires or refining forges and element.
and i am not gonna do that math or proof of any of that if a run gets submitted with the wrong settings it's clearly the runners job.
yea fair enough i think generally speaking we should have an unspoken rule of if you submit a run with minor settings wrong that we have to check doesn't actually affect the run for example fuel consumption then it gets verifed but a warning is issued and if they submit their next run with wrong settings even if minor then it gets declined. as a one time accident is understandable but continually ignoring the rules even if minor should result in the run being rejected.
I have not tested the influence of parameter "fuel cons." on the rate of wood melting in a campfire... element is obviously, but wood ...
yeah got wrong settings when i was testing for gen2 and had 1.25 loot quality, some mission could reward you with 1-4 mutagen
