so, just like before, livesplit hated kinitopet and it went behind the windows again. unfortunately, this time i forgot to alt-tab to show livesplit during the cutscene from 9:33-9:59. there was also a black screen at the beginning and ending of the cutscene, so there's a chance this won't get verified... but hey, i can always do another speedrun.
