I only upgraded the ship for the 1st 3 missions, and then at mission 6 and 10 respectively in order to save time for my selections. With the new built for this speedrun, my Special Weapon time limit will be 84 seconds (instead of 96 like in my previous run), which was my initial intention for my ship to be for the speedrun, but I entered in the base by mistake on Mission 9 on that run. This setup for the special weapon time limit is barely enough for destroying anything before the final ship トウタク. What a run this was, I never thought that would make it to a sub 1:14:40, let alone a sub 1:14:50.
