The premium content from Castaway 2 has been difficult to access since the death of flash. in fact, as far as I'm aware impossible. I've been working on editing the .swf file to allow for premium. Would the rest of you like to try it?

I should mention my edits have a couple quirks. One, the inventory UI doesn't expand to fit the premium button so it kind of trails off the menu. Two, occasionally windows with errors appear. As best I can tell, these are results of existing bugs not a result of my edits. Just now that I've edited it the game seems to log these errors in a new way. They're easy to simply click through.

I found 2 Castaway 2 .swf files on internet. The issues are that with the non-premium one, I don't get the Seal Of Magi after openning the gate of Iapetus after defeating Puff No More. So I can't do this quest. And with the Premium version, I just can't get out of first place because I can't craft Shanks (I can craft the beetle shield, but for some reason I can't craft Shanks. It's the right craft, the game just doesn't do this craft.)

If you're interested the 2 means of running the game that do not involve editing the files that I've found are using BlueMaxima's flashpoint and playing on the website Kongregate. I was asking for permission to use and share edited versions of the .swf file to allow premium.

About the non-premium version, the issue with Seal Of Magi was solved, I just didn't know that it was in a specific room, my bad. I wanted the premium to have everything (+ I wouldn't mind playing another game since premium helps to be faster), so yeah it would be great.

I just tried Castaway 2 Premium version from BlueMaxima's flashpoint and by signing up with my Armor Games account, it works. On this version, the bug that I encountered in which I couldn't craft Shanks and so couldn't get out of the first place of the island isn't there. If some people want, I can give the link of the .swf file that I download the non-premium version, and the link of the application that I'm using to run it. But I don't think it's needed since BlueMaxima's flashpoint works (at least for premium, but probably for non-premium version too). I checked Kongregate but can't play the game. Thanks.

The only issues that I have atm is that I get sometimes a pop-up (from BlueMaxima's flashpoint, premium version), that says "AG Global Save Error: #105: Status Error: general", so I don't think the auto-save work, idk about save in general tho. (Edit: That's an issue, you can't save) And also my pet kinda glitched sometimes (becomes transparent) and I hear fight noices, like he is attacking me (just audio, I don't get dmg, I don't think he really attacks me). + The screen from the game is really small from BlueMaxima's flashpoint application.

Yeah, Bluemaxima's Flashpoint does technically allow premium but you'd basically have to turn off autoSave and do a deathless run which is something I am not competent enough to try. It is perfectly good for runs without premium though, that's how I did my runs.

Hey ya'll, I updated the leaderboard to have premium and non-premium sections, and updated all the old runs to be in the right category, and Pineapple I verified your run as well (damn a 35 min is fast as hell, I could not believe it when I first saw that.) Let me know if any other changes need to be made.

Might have to try speedrunning this again, I bet I can improve on my old time a ton haha
