hi there, Just want everyone aware that rules for submitting runs have be updated. please make sure you have read them, before any runs are attempted. Any questions please ask. :)
When I use the window capture I seemed to remember there being a "capture entire window" box a long time ago. Since I've updated OBS it only seems to say what window, how to find that window, capture cursor and Multi-adapter compatibility. I've tried editing the transform also but that doesn't have an option to capture the entire window either. If I can't figure it out I can use monitor capture and crop it but I'd rather not if there's another way. Not sure what the problem is.
hmm its been awhile since i have capture a emu window and i see the problem you are running into. testing things out now and get back to u soon. :)
Thanks, I think if I can get an older version of obs classic I can put the full window in as well.
@Tenka any thoughts on this. im having issues where my display capture only works when i use 2 monitors. emu window disappears when using just 1 monitor. using obs 23.1
I think you're doing the wrong one @NerdyNester ... use Display capture to capture the entire desktop. Then press Alt+Click and drag the edges of the box in OBS and crop to the section of the screen just showing the emulator window (including the window bar). You can then stretch that cropped view to the size you wish as normal.
As far as I know there is no way to use Window Capture or Game Capture to capture the full window ... (if there is I would love to know about it).
Looks like fusion has a built in AVI under video > log AVI saving function, would this be OK instead of capturing? I can do either just curious
I actually like that idea. Just tried it myself. Does seem pretty straight forward and tamper proof. Let me see what the other mods think first though
One problem with this approach is that the videos would look like TASes (there's no indication of resetting anywhere).
Oh did not know that. Ty tako for pointing that out. Thin we are keeping the rules how they are. Ty for the suggestion though mana
