So after a whole lot of searching in the game, through the game files, and online, I've finally managed to find all the Olaf Eye Orbs!
There are at least 135 of them (!), possibly more, though I really doubt it. After the 130th, you get the final Olaf poster, so the last five seem to just be extra. Nothing else seems to unlock from getting them, so I assume they just put extras in to make it a bit easier to get all the posters.
Having said that, I'm not actually sure where the 135th is exactly, just that I always end up with it at some point in the course of picking up all the others. Also, there are 5 in Josephine's house that are pretty ridiculous in terms of how they're hidden.
Here's a google spreadsheet that lists all the orbs and letters, their locations, and the maps they're in. Apologies for the short form notes about where they are - I'm planning on making a video showing all their locations in better detail, I'll post that when it's done.

So I'm working on a video guide that shows the locations of all the orbs and letters, and for some reason I haven't able to get 135 again, despite always getting it before. I went through the whole game a few more times, and each time I only ended up with 134. This makes some sense, as I never knew exactly where that 135th one was coming from anyway.
This makes me think there might be a pretty random bug that's counting an orb as 2 sometimes, but I've yet to confirm that.
This is an interesting issue, because it raises the following questions about the 100% category:
- For the category, is getting every orb the important thing, or is it just getting the 13 Olaf posters?
- If all I need to get are the 13 Olaf posters, then could I get them by abusing this bug instead of physically collecting all the actual orbs? (Assuming it's possible to do so)
Our current rules only specify 130, but that was before we knew there were actually more than that. Plus, if it's only the posters that matter, there's some room for some interesting routing (i.e "Which 4 orbs do I skip?")
I'm curious if anyone has opinions on this. In the meantime, I'll keep trying to see if I can figure out what's up with that elusive 135th orb.
Thanks to karinazimmerman15963, the issue I was describing in my previous post about the 135th orb has been resolved! Turns out there was just an orb between #18 and #19 I'd missed the subsequent times I'd played through. The spreadsheet has been updated to include this one, and I'll take the time to get footage of it for the location video I've been working on soon.
