Hi!

A new category was added for those interested: Betweenspace. As the name suggests, its a speedrun that aims to collect all items in Betweenspace as fast as possible, as measured by the things in the "Betweenspace Progress" card. If people see fit, I can add a section that allows for people to start after game completion, however, that would require a way to finish the game without doing part of Betweenspace, currently impractical.

Additionally, because of the new category, I had to strictly limit the Chapter selection to Any%, rather than both Any% and Intended%. I couldn't do both because speedrun.com doesn't allow that for some reason? If someone actually does submit an Intended% run, I will add them back.

Sawayoshi had also been doing some Soundscan EP speedruns (i.e., reaching 10k EP as fast as possible). They've even been on GDQ with these. If people want it, I could also add a Soundscan category.

The game will be leaving early access on June 23rd of this year. Presumably, several debug tools will be removed, primarily shift+enter. Shift+enter is critical to the any% speedrun (saving dozens of minutes), and the only primary thing currently defining the run. I'm curious as to how you all would react to a potential board wipe, or any% removal (since there would be no difference between the two). If you have a thought, feel free to make a forum post about it. Or DM it to me on Discord (plixona). You can always do that.

If I receive no input, my current thoughts are to kind of archive the current runs (if that's possible) and rename Intended% to a new Any%. My opinion could definitely change, since there's still two months until the event happens. Or shift+enter could not be removed, and if so, nothing would need to happen. We'll see, but I would like additional thoughts even if no one else really runs this game.
