HI. I was thinking the same thing as you, so I requested to become a moderator for this game and was granted permission the other day.
As a result, I have added a category for "Solomon's Key 2" which is now playable. Since I am not very familiar with the differences from "Fire 'n Ice", I created a separate category just in case.
(I'm not really confident with my English. I'm sorry.)
I am not familiar with the difference between win10 and win7. I'm sorry. Therefore, I will compare the submitted video with other videos and assign it to the category with the closer framerate.
I have separated only the any% category. I will wait and see how things progress.

Thank you very much for reply. However, I will hold off on this topic until the topic of the differences between Win10 and Win7 is resolved.
(If my Eniglish is wrong, I'm sorry. I'm not good at Eniglish.)
I am considering separating this game into categories for Windows 7 and Windows 10. I would like to hear others' opinions on whether this decision is appropriate.
I am one of the moderators of this game. However, I am not familiar with the internal systems of this game. Sorry.

There is a suggestion in the above thread that Win10 runs are slower than Win7 runs. The specific frame rate difference is not clear to me. However, I have compared several videos and there certainly seems to be a difference between them.
That is why I am considering separating the categories. (Please also see this thread: https://www.speedrun.com/new_super_marisa_land/thread/tcuzd )
Hello, Marisa is cute.
I would like to separate the items "wrong warp" and "warpless" in the category "any%" by subcategories (variables). I would like to hear other people's opinions.
(I am not good at English, so I apologize if my English is incorrect.)
The material that Syura posted in "Guides" was very helpful. I appreciate it.
Thank you for your reply.
I still don't understand it clearly. I am sorry. If I use the item "きんしマーク (prohibition mark), should I choose "Random Items" or "No Items"?
"No items" means that you start with "もちもの:なし (no item)" and you don't get any items, I think.
I am sorry if I sound picky. I just want to be sure.
I am not good at English. I am sorry.
I do not know what "Badge" means. Does "Badge" mean an item?
I am going to play the game using the item "きんしマーク (prohibition mark)". In this case, should I choose "Badge" or "No Badge"?
