Sorry. That was for category rules. We don't have regular game rules, unfortunately, but let's keep it consistent and have the timer to always begin as soon as you hit the new game button and end when the white screen fading as soon as eve is dead.
I can't finalize my vote yet but if i had to, my vote is only because I prefer speed, so psxjin is what I prefer, unless suddenly there's another emulator that loads even faster. Bizhawk is good but this game so far is over an hour long, the loading screens can be a killer waste of time and a turn off if you were the one watching it. If it were some other game that only took 10 minutes like Super mario bros for example, I would choose bizhawk for that accuracy.
Psxjin is remarkable for speed but suffers from sound issues, which might interfere with the player speedrunning.
I will need to try out both emulators first to see it for myself.
I'm can't find any option for this and I don't really know if this feature is in here but, what I'm looking for is the program to display the current running time for a single segment. For example, let's say I have 4 segments: A,B,C, and D which is the last. After i start the run, i split to segment B. I want the program to display that for segment B it has been running for whatever amount of time, like 3 minutes 20 seconds. For a game I play I need to count a certain amount of time so that I can do a certain action when the time comes but I don't have the time to do it in my head what the current time is and then add whatever amount of seconds because it is in the middle of a heated battle.
Also, is there a way to display in an extra column my current best time compared to the running time? Like for segment A my pb is 2:09. I start a run. split to B and get 2:06 for A. I want it to display both these numbers AND a -.03, not overwrite the 2:09 number
Thank you CrystalChaos for the quick response. I will get right to it. I have runs to submit but due to a recent fiasco with the current last active mod on that game with another player, he is sort of becoming a jerk about it and somewhat abusing mod powers. I can message a supermod to become a mod but what about becoming supermod? Do you know anything about this?
I see. By the way, do they both have the power to verify and reject runs? Seeing as I'm pretty much the only active speedrunner for this game I run, I might as well apply for supermod, not like it sounds like it's any more beneficial but looks good :)
I'm new to these forums and I want to apply for one in one of the games I speedrun. But I first like to know what are the differences between them, if there's any that is significant. Also, where do i apply to become a super/mod for a specific game? And yes I am VERY knowledgeable in that game, far more than the current mods for that game.
I hope i posted this topic in the right forum.
