16 is one of the easiest to start off with in my opinion. the only hard things for a beginner is mips clip and bljs but if you practice them enough im sure you'd get a good time

PAL PS2 is the quickest out of all of the consoles and can do tricks that the other consoles can't, its movement is also faster

you cannot skip cutscenes on pc on any version.

Personally I like to speedrun the games I liked playing. If you want to record your screen you can either use your phone / tablet or a capture card.

Wind Waker or OoT are my personal favourites

you need to atleast play the game for a long period of time, be trusted in that speedrun community to get a chance at being mod.
