This is a great game to speedrun for casuals because it doesn't rely on complex gameplay. Most of the run is about being familiar with the route of the game and being good at all the minigames, which will come naturally as you play through a few times. There aren't many tips that I could give; the run isn't difficult, it is just long.

My advice would be to try running ILs (individual levels) first; that's what the "Levels" tab above is for. I find it helpful to practice each Princess' world individually and get comfortable with them before doing a full-game run. I also recommend watching some of the submitted runs first to see the routing in action. You will get a feel for it quickly as you play, but it's always good to watch someone else do it as well.

This game is fairly simple to speedrun. The only major skip is SpyBaby's Wall Jump, which is in the Known Skips and Glitches Forum. Outside of that, this game is mostly about memorization and reaction. You'll have to play a few times to get used to the minigames and understand the routing, so focus on that first

You've got a good point in that we do not have a rule about this right now. I would say that the use of a second player of any kind qualifies the run as Co-Op, so even a temporary partner would disqualify a run from Any%. Since we don't have a rule on that though, and I'm not a mod, I do think we should have a discussion on this to make it more clear

I agree on the IL co-op, but honestly, this game doesn't have enough runners for it to truly be worth it to add more categories, especially a 100%. Besides, this is a game where, unless some kind of major skip is found, the any% is a 100% run.

Generally, I use OBS to record. It's fairly simple, and there are tons of tutorials online if you need help. To record time, LiveSplit is the standard, and probably the easier way of recording it. It also has plenty of tutorials available. Hope this helps. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

Hi Magical. To my knowledge, you cannot play coop on the pc version. And no, only the intro cutscene is skippable.
