God complex wouldn't count in 2.0 and later so you might need an alternative.

Turbo basically refers to macros that auto-fire for you or buttons on controllers that rapid push the button for you, not the auto-fire option in the game settings.
-
Typically it's referring to controller players. But using macros or unnatural forms of firing would not be allowed for keyboard players. Binding multiple keys is fine. Mouse

Mouse-wheel is kind of a grey area. It would definitely make me thing someone was cheating.
I'm pretty open to addign new categories. I was thinking of a 3 tiered cake category.
All I ask is if you're interested in adding new categories.
- Come up with a list of ingredients and possible substitutes.
- Come up with a rule set that makes sense for a category. Try to make them as fair and inclusive as possible. Include timing requirements.
- Complete a run.
Yes, QTCinderella's run has a similar oven and she showed that it was on the Conventional setting.
Molasses is the substitute for brown sugar. We've got to keep the ingredient count consistent.
In my opinion, I think only 1 oven should be allowed. But this would give advantage to people with larger ovens. I dunno. I guess I'm willing to allow whatever general consensus is.
Nice! Yeah it can probably done instantly with the proper angle.
I'm not opposed to it, typically for other games I mod, I tell people if they make up a ruleset and do a run, I'll set up a board for it.
I try to avoid arbitrary runs though. Ones that are super short for the sake of being short.
You can use as many baking trays as you want.
We'll have to talk about liquid eggs, let me get back to you.
Pam is fine under the extra ingredients rule.
My original intent for using the Fridge/Freezer was to cool the melted butter, but however people use them is up to them.
I was thinking of of what else would be interesting to speedrun for Baking and I think a 3 layer cake, fully frosted would be an interesting one. Thoughts?
Obviously you'd need to make the 3 layers of cake, but then you also need to make the frosting, frost in between layers and then the entire outside. Not sure how long this would take tbh.
There's an IRL speedrun discord in the works by the SRC mods. It's not ready yet so IRL discussion can continue in cookie clicker for the time being.
Broiler still legal
Parchment paper is legal, I'll add it to the list.
You're allowed to add extra ingredients that aren't on the list, but the ones on the list are mandatory.
The chocolate chips need to be visible in each cookie, so you definitely need enough, (Maybe experiment with puttin them on after you put the dough on the cooking sheet, before going in the oven?)
Normal speed, no edits, no speed-up. You're free to edit your runs for personal use(YT, etc.) but it needs to be the full video for the submission.
There is opportunity to add new baking categories. A discussion would need to be had for each additional item, mainly getting a ruleset in place that the community can agree upon.
@rusek0374 The ruleset was not changed because of this run, it was already being discussed prior to this run.
Few things,
I reworded the Butter ruling. I realize it was a bit confusing and made it seem like melting the butter was required. It is not required.
I would advise doing a lot of testing before the run. See roughly how much product you can hold in your hand. weigh how much you grab on average by hand.
Maybe do a rest bake with all of your ingredients. See that the recipe holds up and meet what would be considered an acceptable cookie. Feel free to post pictures in the forums to see if it would be accepted or not.
