You pushed that stone so well that you found a hidden time machine to take you back to that room. That is wild to say the least and thanks for sharing that.
You would be correct as that matches the route that I made for it but never got around to doing a run.
Nice to see a good place for that tech that was useful so great find. Congrats again on your run, it was very solid.
The One Cycle on that level would be great as that was as close as I could get as well like in your video while testing. Nice find on being able to skip the End Level sequence for the Secret Exits as well.
Just finished reading this and wanting to say thanks for your research in this game. Some of the tech you are describing I found out after the initial run but never got around to doing another run and it has been a while. The Tanuki Town route to get through in that manner is solid and much better then what I was doing when trying to find a way to get through quicker. I also agree with you that this game is great and it has been fun the times it has been played. Once I get back to this game at some point, I am going to mess around with some more stuff and expand on the information that you have provided. Once again, I appreciate this very much and let's see what else we can potentially find in the future.

Could you please add a really cool category called All Giant Question Mark Blocks as it is very unique and fun. Plus the strats and tech are just amazing and great things will come out of this one no doubt. Thanks again for your consideration in this matter.
This is a quick post to inform everyone that emulators have been added as a separate board. After everything, I felt that this was the best way to go about it and keep both sides in balance. EMU rules will be under the Game Rules tab so be sure to check it out to ensure there isn't an issue with verifying your submission. As always any feedback on the matter is welcome by either posting on this thread or getting in contact with me on here or Discord. Best of luck to everyone on their future runs and let's have some fun running this game and see where we can take it.
Feel free to let me know if you or someone else decides to run it and I can add it to the Leaderboard as a Misc Category.
I adjusted the Leaderboards for both of these categories to be able to add the Score when you submit a run. For some reason, the rules are not showing now after that change so I will need to ask to see what might be the issue. Moving forward for these categories, place the Score in the High Score or High Score No Fruit Tab and then put a random number in the hours column which will then be adjusted depending on your place on the Leaderboard. If you have any questions, feel free to message me or respond to this post and thanks.
Update: It looks like the issue with some rules not showing up on the site has been corrected from the time I just checked so we should be good moving forward.
Thank you for that and I am more then happy to explain what happened in that run. The main glitch I found that lets you complete the level is a combination of Shop Storage and Death Abuse through the Pause Menu. I found that if you paused while jumping at certain points, the screen could become black with nothing on it. That is mostly the best time but you could do it as well on certain levels without the screen going but you have a better chance if the screen goes dark. Once you pause at that point, you would press the pause button again along with the jump button and if done right, it will cue the Level Complete Trigger. The important part is visiting the shop because after you do that, it locks you out of the pause menu because you are in a glitched state and going to the shop lets you access the pause menu and able to do the glitch moving forward. The only place it seems you can do it without going to the shop is the last World where it just seems to work for the most part. The important part too is to reset your lives since doing the glitch takes sometimes 1 life and other times leaves you with 0. That can be done by pausing the game and then pressing the attack button and it will reset the level and your lives. If anyone has any further questions or needs to know anything else about the glitches, feel free to get in contact with me.
A big update was just made for Hoo-Boy that adds 10 more levels and adds enemies and obstacles to avoid in all the levels. I want feedback from everyone that has run the game on what we should do with the old runs since the game is completely different now with the new additions.
I have a video of a completed run coming up shortly and I got the Easter Egg Basket because it iust looks so nice, hahaha.
One more thing as well is should the Easter Egg Basket that you can collect in Level 9 be included in 100%?
I did some testing as I plan on doing this category at some point. The game gives you a gold crown above the level when you collect the 3 coins in each level. In level 15, there are 4 coins but one of them can't be reached (the one next to the goal near the gust that sends you up). Therefore as far as for the 100% category, you don't need to collect that mentioned coin as all it seems to be is a way to get trolled, hahaha. Feel free to send me feedback on that in this thread and thanks.
I will go ahead and add rules as soon as I have a chance and I will go ahead and verify the run since no rules were there at the time. I went ahead and did some further research and didn't see anything conclusive that would show that Save and Quit is not allowed. I suppose I am just so used to not using Save & Quit for anything that I just took it to that point. Sorry for the confusion again and best of luck to you on future runs!!
