I'm trying to learn to run this game again. I can get Flowtimer to open just fine, but when I try to launch the gen 3 starter predictor, it just doesn't open at all. I already have java on my computer, and it isn't working. I even tried watching PulseEffect's video on it from 2 years ago, and used the dropbox link for the java 11 app. I installed it, and still won't launch. What am I doing wrong?

There are different definitions for a good squirtle. Your route can vary slightly depending on what your squirtle's IV's are. I think you should keep attempting the manip on emulator (it is possible. I've done it before. Watch Pulse effect's video for help on this stuff) and just practice.

I recommend you use emulator. It is the easiest to set up (plus it is free) and also, be sure to learn manips, especially the nidoran manip. You can get away without the other ones, like Mt.moon manip, but be sure to get the nidoran one. There are many different manips you can try out.

But actually now @Gooey97, you can actually use emulator since they recently just added a separate category to Any% meant for Emulators or NTR. Go ahead and use emulator if you want. Just be sure to submit it to the right category

Yeah. That is where most do the reset since it is within the first 10 minutes. I always do mine at the start just to be sure.
