What was already said.
Also without at least one run a leaderboard for the game is kinda pointless.
Like Focus said, Ruki has done glitchless runs. So yes it definitely is possible.
For most Sonic games (except the two recent ones) IL boards can be found on tsc, for S1 13: http://www.soniccenter.org/rankings/sonic_1_2013
There's a main sonic speedrunning discord https://discord.gg/XRsRwRU
Excuse me that I don't know how to quote properly.
"Cyberscore just isn't very professional and anyone can submit any score without and real means of verification." Have you recently visited cs? There's a whole proof system in place that is moderated daily. Users can submit proof of their score at the same time. The proof will be looked at and approved/rejected it. Besides that there's a report feature that anyone can report any score (with a good arguement of course). So yeah I don't really know what you mean by "without any real means of verification".
Also as a reply to the first post: I don't like any of those options.
Individual cups will probably not be added (for now). You can just run all cups for those. As for time trials, ILs for this game and other sonic games are hosted on the sonic center: http://www.soniccenter.org/rankings/sonic_&_sega_all-stars_racing
Also: best way to get new categories added is to do runs of them and link them to any mod, bonus points if you get others to run them aswell.
IL Leaderboards for Sonic games are hosted on the sonic center. For Rush specifically http://www.soniccenter.org/rankings/sonic_rush
Don't use ps4 controllers on older games, use a ps3 controller emulated as a 360 controller (or better just a 360 controller)
Hello, you may have noticed that in-game timing has been added this is due to existing significant differences in load times between each pc. To calculate it you simply have to add up all your track times in your run. With this change it is also assumed that there are no significant breaks between each cup/track.
I was able to convert most current pbs to IGT with the exception of Justgoodpop's times because unfortunale the time of thunder deck is not shown in their video.
Also, an autosplitter by Jellyfishswimmer, R3FR4G and Sora_yw is in development. With that your IGT will automatically be calculated assuming you play on pc, for console runs we will still need to manually calculate it.
yeah atm you need video proof of it
Hey, nice :o but do you mean Lava Lair? I don't recall there being a track called Dino Mountain.
Loading times tend to differ by certain things (like the type of xbox you have). First thing I suggest (if you haven't done this) is to install the game to your xbox' hard drive.
@Javi17 I've messaged Lafungo for you, I along with him, are part of the staff on cyberscore. He talks on that discord regulaly. He's definitely not inactive. Not on src nor on discord.
Haven't added them yet as I wasn't sure about them.
Hi,
Since I've played this game a lot (too much tbh) I got curious how a speedrun would go. I'll first mention my questions:
- When does timing start?
- Why Russia over any other nation?
- I assume mods are banned and Ironman is enforced?
Now suggestion, well tbh I only really have one, and tis one counts for Heart of Iron IV and Victoria II too, which I've seen on SRC. Why would you time by real time when theres an in game timer (well sort of) it's better, in my opinion, to rnk by the day the player reached the objective aka like 22nd October 1488. This would also allow World Conquest to be added, which people have competed in on the paradox forums. Also tons of pcs aren't able to run speed 5 or even speed 4 as fast as others can, making comparison between what day the user reached the objective as a fairer comparison.
Drako probably if you're in it and participate in the discussions there.
