I got the timing for the save corrupt right and followed the instructions of swapping the pokemon, the items and the pokemon again. But after I close the Menu, the Screen freezes and a random Check pattern is shown (see screenshot below).

What I did not do is the Manip TID 64C2 (25794) because I did overread it first:
Do I have to perform the Manip TID 64C2 (25794) before the save corrupt? And if so, do I need to do it before every run? Or is the problem something else?
