Hey y'all, I'm trying to get into speedrunning BG3 (specifically the No Major Glitches category) but I'm having a frustrating issue with LiveSplit and I'm hoping someone here can help me out. Here's what's happening

1. I launch LiveSplit as Admin
2. Load the splits (doesn't matter which category I select, it happens with all of them)
3. Go to the Settings in the Splits Editor and enable auto Start and Split along with the splits I want it to use
4. Go to Settings and make sure Global Hotkeys are enabled (I've heard this is a common issue but doesn't fix it for me)
5. Launch the game
6. As soon as the game launches LiveSplit freezes and becomes totally unresponsive (hotkeys do nothing, timer freezes, clicking on it makes it show the mouse spinner
7. If I close out of the game it becomes responsive again

Here are common issues I've seen people report but I know it isn't:

• Running LiveSplit as Admin, I'm doing this
• Enabling Global Hotkeys, they are enabled
• Something to do with the Category I have selected, this happens no matter which category I use
• Having the Split/Start checkboxes enabled in the Split Component Settings, this happens with them checked or unchecked

Other possibly useful information:

• If I have no splits loaded I can launch the game and LiveSplit stays responsive, but if I then try to load the splits when I have the game open it immediately freezes
• If I have the timer started when I launch the game it stops, but once I close the game the timer shows that it has been running the whole time. So for example if I launch it when the timer shows 10 seconds it will be stuck at 10 but I close the game a minute later the timer will then show 1:10 as if nothing happened

Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong? I can take a screen recording of it happening if it would be helpful but hopefully I've included enough context here. I've taken a screenshot of all of the settings windows in case you notice something wrong with my setup there:

Hey y'all, I'm currently trying to get into the No Major Glitches category and came across a piece of tech that would be a big time save if it's allowed under the No Major Glitches category. In a recent video by Proxy Gate Tactician (www.youtube.com/watch?v=31ITUKPyhZc) he showed that when you go into the final Ketheric fight you can use the pixie to turn you into a frog and fast travel back to the surface rather than fighting him and it will let you just leave Act 2 and give you his stone anyway

Using that tech would let you skip getting the smokepowder bombs and doing the fight with him, which would be a potentially huge time save (just buying all the bombs takes at least 4 or 5 minutes of resetting the vendor inventory and the fight adds at least another minute or two). I don't think it's currently outlawed by the category rules and personally I don't see it as a major glitch, it's more of an avoidance tactic like we use in a lot of other places in the run, but I want the community's input before I put time into practicing that route
