Changing languages is faster by about 3 seconds for Spanish if you have a NTSC version and if you have a PAL version, Italian is a bit faster than Spanish.

If you only have one profile on the Wii U, click your little icon, do Switch User, then you can create a new one from there. You want to NOT add a NNID or else you'll get Callie and Marie telling you what the maps are and all that jazz.

Can we get more mods for the leaderboard? Its been 2-3 days since new runs have been verified.

I really want to test more areas that can use them because I know it can open up more things. What if we move 2-6 from the current route to play it first so we get enough orbs? We don't have to stray too far away from the current route and we also get a ramp to go up so we don't have to worry about inking a wall. Also, there's armor we can grab in 1-2 and 2-1 for sure that are actually part of the current route of those areas so that's free 20 orbs/eggs.

Well it already seems like Saturdays are better. Really want to get these started soon. Hopefully once August hits we can do Splatfests together after races or something. That'd be pretty awesome.

Thinking about moving it to Sundays just in case if Splatfest is happening during the run. Can't miss out on some Splatfest action! :D

So I guess the general consensus is on the weekend. So, Saturday or Sunday? Around what times?

The biggest question now would be what day in the week and what time it would be held.

Would any of you want to start doing weekly races on Speedrunslive for Splatoon? Would be a fun thing to do and bring the community a bit closer together. Might even draw in new runners.

I personally find starting at the tutorial to be fine because on NG, there's gameplay before you get into the plaza so that's starting when you first get control of your character. I don't mind it changing, but you get a good minute of gameplay before the typical text mashing of almost every game before you get into the real chunk of the run.

I play with Motion Controls off since I'm not a fan of them. They are really accurate though.
