I have to assume that current challenge mode runs are limited to single player. If so can this be clarified, and could we maybe get 2 player category. With any future this game has being on emulator, I would love to get netplay running for some 2p runs.

Yeah I did some tests earlier, looks like you only need the one input, but without reference for the window in between stages, I have to hit it a few times. You are right though, anyone can get it constantly, when hovering on start game before arcade, hit enter, then straight away esc + enter, and you will skip to credits.

This does work! However it seems like the mash needs to be very fast, I am getting it 100% of the time now though. A new problem arises when doing the transition skip on stage one which results in skipping, not to the first fight, but to the very end of the credits: https://streamable.com/isldx This of course results in """1 second runs""" I propose that we ban using the skip on the first fight.
