On the 29th I'm available from 3PM to ~11PM and on the 30th/31st from 2PM to ~11PM CET.
ISSUE 1: Allowing this glitch would completely change the run and in my opinion, it would remove the essence of what makes the RtCW run special & fun. I would ban the use of the glitch from the main category and create a separate one if somebody wants to make a run utilizing it. I honestly wouldn't keep running the game if the glitch was allowed in the current Any% category.
ISSUE 2: I'm in favor of enforcing the use of stock cvars. This is how it is in games like Quake 1 & Quake 2 and how it should be in any game that has cvars that affect physics & shit. Also makes new runners less confused.
ISSUE 3: I think runners should be able to use whichever version of the game they want to, as long as they are aware of the potential advantages / disadvantages of said versions.

Progress report: Official Mission Packs are now functional. Timer is up next
Alright, the features to be added are as follows:
-
Support for the official Mission Packs "The Reckoning" & "Ground Zero", also known as Xatrix & Rogue.
-
Statistics tracking that you can display on screen with a few variables. This also includes timing for individual levels + combining those times for each Unit + combined Unit times for complete run time. The stats are displayed on screen in the style of JoeQuake and times are printed in console.
- Stats to track:
- time spent on level in hours:minutes:seconds:milliseconds.
- kills xx/xx
- secrets xx/xx
- Console variables: 0 - off, 1 - only time, 2 - time + kills + secrets xx/xx meaning that it'll be displayed on screen as x kills/secrets out of the total amount of kills/secrets on a given stage
- Stats to track:
-
In-game soundtrack playback via Ogg Vorbis. Add an option in the sound options in-game to toggle "Ogg Music On/Off", also a console command with same functionality (1/0).
This all amounts to a total cost of £200 / €270.55 / $296.75, so any help with splitting the payment is very much appreciated. Again, contact me on Steam if you're willing to help http://steamcommunity.com/id/DraQu/
Either way, this is a thing now, and it most certainly is happening. Merry Christmas.
So, here's the deal: I have a friend who I'm looking into hiring to add support for the official Mission Packs (The Reckoning, Ground Zero) & music playback in Q2PRO. Are there any additional features you guys would be interested in? Maybe a proper counter for kills/secrets & a timer like in Q1 or support for the unofficial Mission Packs Juggernaut & Zaero?
I'm still talking specifics with my friend and I don't have any estimate numbers yet, but would any of you be willing to participate in splitting the cost of the project? If so, add me on steam http://steamcommunity.com/id/DraQu/ and I'll keep you updated on what's going on.
Cheers.

You could make multiple splits for the same stage in order of visit but that just seems messy to me, so I can't be arsed :p Doesn't take much tho, just go through the route and type "info" in the console on every map load, check the "mapname" line & add the corresponding name to the autosplit list.
Since you go back and forth the same levels, it wouldn't work properly.
