Dear @jannik323, Approximately 4 months ago you asked me a very serious question, a question of which I could not answer without proper experimentation. "Does it also work if I have no forehead?" I took it upon myself to look into the matter. For science. It has been a long, cruel, mostly agonising recovery period, but today I am here to share with you, my discoveries...
Nah
I've actually been secretly b-hopping for a while now. I usually bind the A button on my Xbox controller to jump and then tape the entire thing to my forehead so that when I want to b-hop, I just raise my eyebrows so that they hold down the A button. Pretty effective really, think I might stick to it.
Thank you but I’m talking specifically about the level segments; sandbox, escape and sky. The rules do say the time starts when you start the first level, and ends when you finish the last level. But it’s tricky to tell as a lot of the runs submitted are just clips of a full game speedrun.
Just trying to figure out whether or not segment runs are timed by in-game time or include the time in between levels.
@jannik323 Ok so I spent about a week practising and my best time is 22:820 but i wasn't completely sure on the rules so i did 2 different runs. 1 where i did 4 360's in-game and another in real-life. This might be surprising but the rl run was faster. I'm an incredibly spinny person.
Since there's all this chat about glitchless runs, i thought that crouchless would be much more fun. It might mean finding new paths for some levels, I did one on tutorial and found it pretty fun.
My new best is 9.82 for anyone wondering...
I personally think prop jumping without the pause isn't a glitch, it's just an object hitting you. I wouldn't be entirely against this category.
@Nemoic you might be able to use cheat engine. just put in the time you have and see if you can change it.
Agreed, this seems like a pointless category, however i think crouchless would be awesome.
Ive actually been using that, but i need one that can record livesplit as well. Obs seems to work but thx.
