Massachusetts, USAIn terms of OBS widgets, looking at different chatbots and their stuff would be the way to go, like using Streamlabs or Streamelements. Really "best" for these types of things is purely subjective. I've personally used the Streamlabs widgets years before they ripped off OBS with their Streamlabs OBS project, but I know a lot of people that like Streamelements more.
Then you need to look at the rules on the Super Mario Bros. 3 page and if it's not clear, ask in their forums or their discord to clarify. As mentioned before though, most games will not allow a browser-run emulator, but this is why checking the rules for specific games/asking said community is important because you never know.
Depending on the game too you might be able to find a "break point" anyways. I've got one in Lost Legacy doing permadeath attempts if I get up to saving the elephant, that's a 2-3 minute autoscroller I can use for a bathroom break.

BTW for anyone that may not now about the Memory Card Screen, this is what it looks like. For emulator, I was able to get this when I set both memory card 1 and 2 to "No Memory Card" in the Memory Card Type drop down box.
Hey guys, I've been hoping to get more done with races in this game in general so I'd like to announce that RugratsL Search for Reptar officially has a Racetime.gg leaderboard!
Rules for races were established when the game was featured in a segment of the Misfit Mascot Relay #2 and just requires runners to remove memory card after a reset before the run begins to make the start of races easier to make it easier to sync the start of runs. This means the main menu RNG manipulation becomes a part of the run so if you do end up getting a PB, you will need to re-time before submitting to the boards here.
As it stands now, I was hoping to have an All Levels race to christen these new boards and this race as of now is slated for Saturday March 30th at 2:00PM Eastern Time and open to anyone that wishes to join!
You typically will get a notification when the run is accepted/rejected from the notification bell in the top bar. If you wanna see all pending runs, you can see them on your profile under the "Pending" tab. This list also tracks all your rejected runs so you know where to look if you ever need that too.
They get 3-4 weeks to verify runs. If it's any longer than that, try to see if there's a discord for the game that you can join to talk with mods or contact the mods directly through the socials that are listed on their page. If you're still not getting replies, then the ticket above would be what you'd do next.

It's typically US copies you have to worry about Bootlegs, which the US copy is more expensive typically than the JP 1.0 cart with Wing Cap Mario on top. Otherwise, there is this handy image for spotting a fake US version, but realistically if you don't want to worry about counterfeits at all, JP 1.0 is gonna be your best option.
You should probably make this posting in your game's forum since it's a good idea for someone who actually runs the game to be a verifier for those specific boards.
You can highlight the individual stream itself so it only includes the run itself without the extra bits. I personally then export to YouTube for submissions but once it gets highlighted, that's usually fine for submissions. You should also go to Twitch Settings to the Stream section and make sure that you turn on "Store Past Broadcasts" since this will allow you to actually have the VoDs saved for 7 days (14 if affiliate).
Oh I was talking about a PS1 game that has to load for about 1-2 minutes on a reset every time before i can even start an attempt. Either way we're arguing for something that has a 99% chance of not changing at all and is just 1 minute of your life. If it was anything more significant than that, I'm sure there would have been changes sooner than now.
There are a number of retro games that can be co-op. The two that come to my mind that are both Nintendo games would be Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers on the NES (Platformer) and TMNT IV: Turtles in Time on the SNES (Beat-em Up)
I mean tbf you're talking to someone who runs a game that requires a full console reset for any new attempts so its not like this amount of time bothers me. You guys are fine.
At the end of the day its only a minute. Take the time to get a stretch, drink some water, catch up on twitch chat, all of that. Can also be a good time to reset yourself mentally.
