All Items Guide

Pretty much the main point of this game is to get all of your items on your checklist. Recently in a run, there has been a strategy where as soon as your start the game you pause and look at your items. Do this is every room in the game if needed so you don't waste any time getting items.

All Items Guide (Screaming_Orange edition)

So basically the best thing to do is just be lucky, a sub 40 run is easy with the right luck. Also, A good map has all the items on the bottom floor, and getting the office key early on, like on the dinner table, or in the living room. Make sure to sprint the whole time (hold shift), and if it helps, pause, and look at the list before you start running. A good code for the safe would probably be a code like 3369, but this only saves a microscopic amount of time. As soon as you open the safe, a beeping noise will start in the laundry room (between the garage and kitchen), and the safe itself. By that point, the actual house owner will come home, but depending on how long you have been inside the house and how many mistakes you made on the code, the time they walk in might be faster or shorter. Death% Guide

Death% is probably the easiest one to run, but hard to get good results. As soon as you spawn and black screen fades away look to the right and grab the plant, moving your mouse in a way that the plant is below you, rapidly press ctrl until you gain air and clip out of the wall outside. Since this is quite finnicky you must be quite lucky to gain air quick, which is the main issue of this category. Happy running.

Item lists to avoid in All items run

In all items run, RNG is your best friend and your worst enemy, so here are some items that are bad RNG due to their size or being hard to find.
Bracelet: Extremely small and can be buried beneath the couch pillows which sometimes makes it a pain in the arse to find especially when you're running low on time. 
Mobile phone: Also is an ass to find at times due to it's size and color.
Diamond ring, spawns in few places but has a small hitbox which unless you have really good aim can be a pain in the arse.
Radio: Spawns in some yucky places like the garage, fuse room, dining room, second floor and the office, isn't hard to find but is a big pain with bad RNG.
Rare wine: Can be a pain in the ass if it's in the wine shelf because it's more than likely to be blocked by wine bottles which makes you lose some time.
Key: Generally easy to find, usually spawns on the first floor, if there are items in the garage it's likely that it will spawn on the workbench or the fuse room, and so on, basically spawns near most of the items. You know you have good RNG if the key is either on the small table in the living room or in the dining room since it's fast and easy to get.
All other items are generally easy to find, some having spawns limited to a single room or two rooms next to each other like the Stamp Album.
