Preparation: You should have maxed Throw/Squirt/Sound and organic throw. Lure maxed helps a lot but is not needed.

Two options: Option 1: Complete your Sellbot suit up to Level 13 to have teleport access to Sellbot HQ. You get plenty of SBHQ related tasks in this playground and can save plenty of time traveling if you get there. Sure, you can wait until the Silly reward is TP access, but you don't want to speedrun when it's active because street props kill a lot of time in the long run of things.

Option 2: Don't complete your Sellbot suit. You do not want the Merit counter wasting additional time on the dance screen.

TASKS: Take the Carry 40 Gags task the moment you get offered. Any tasks like low amount of Cogs in MML take as well because the first task in Carry 40 Gags is 10 Cogs in MML. Keep on choosing tasks you can do in MML until you get to a point where you can mix two factory tasks with the third task (ex: 30 sellbots anywhere + a sellbot factory + 3 skelecogs in sellbot hq). Being able to carry 3 tasks and mix tasks together makes MML a lot more interesting to speedrun.

Taking building tasks DOES NOT HURT YOUR RUN. However, try to avoid the ones that ask you to do 3 or 4 buildings. Whenever doing 3+ stories, make sure they're on Alto Avenue so you get either a lv 6 or 7 boss and you can spam Foghorn through the earlier floors. Also make sure that the district you do a building in wasn't a past invasion, otherwise you might get something like a level 8-10 boss (tier 5-7 invasion). If you maxed lure, this isn't a problem, but it'll waste time.

At a certain point, you will be offered the notorious Glad Hander task. This task can make or break your run. Try to take this task when you can mix in some Sellbot HQ tasks, and DO NOT put your main focus on this. Each ticket from the Hander is a 20% recovery rate, so you may as well focus on other tasks and just fight Glad Handers as you encounter them. If there is an invasion, that helps as well.

For Teleport Access, DO NOT TAKE DR. FRET. What most people do not know is that this task is skippable due to a coding issue where only ToonHQ hands out this task. If you talk to street NPCs, they will offer random tasks for TP Access. Take the best one you can find.

The final frame is really easy. You just fish, take over a 1 story, 2 story, then 3 story. Solo all of these on Alto Avenue for lowest level Cogs.

AVOID THE FOLLOWING TASKS: Department-specific Cog Buildings: Yes, I said Cog Building tasks are alright to take. However, if you pick a task like "3 Story Sellbots," you may get dealt a bad hand and only find Cashbot buildings and such. It's not worth taking the risk and I would avoid these at all cost. Dr. Fret: As I said above, this is completely skippable. You have to fight 10 Number Crunchers, 20 Cashbots, and defeat a Cashbot building. It's easier just to do 20 3+ Cogs or something like that. Any level 6+ Cog quests: The two options are 16 and 24 of them, and you can only one shot a lv 6 with Cake and Cloud (6 gags per restock). This is not a good task for mixing either because you'll most like be encountering Level 5- Cogs for majority of the run. Any tier 6 Cog quest: Regardless of if there's an invasion, defeating 12 of any of them can be annoying since you only get 6 one hit KOs per restock. Level 5 Cog quests are fine since you have Foghorn which makes this 9 gags per restock (16 if you have organic throw), so you can just defeat 9 with one hit and finish 3 more in 2 hits.
