That's an interesting occurrence? Usually time starts when you hit start button on the title screen, it takes about 4 seconds to actually mash through the storyline in the beginning to actually be able to move around. I'm not entirely sure when you would start, but my suggestion is that you start when you select titenic. You're time will be off from what it should be, since yours doesn't have the storyline so you'd have to figure out how long each storyline is on screen for and add that to your total time for the run to be verified.
