me and "scratchy" discovered that loading zones pause the igt timer
i made a lrt timer and got a 2:46 at first i was confused than i realized loading into levels paused my lrt timer which is the timer for level times but i removed a block that resets it after level completion so it is 100% igt actuate i will make a replica of it using delta time for maximum accuracy.
Edit: There Is no easy way to make a pauseable timer that doesn't lag but i am still trying to make a LRT timer that doesn't lag
I Don't Know If A Pauseable LRT Timer Is Possible I Been Working On This For A While
I Made A Pauseable RTA Timer And So A LRT Timer Has Been Made
It Was Simple When The Game is Paused Make A New Time Stamp (Timestamp2) And At The End Make a New Timestamp (Timestamp3) Then Set The Timestamp For Full Game To 0 Minus Timestamp2 - Timestamp3
ok i was wrong its 99% Done The last Thing Needed is to make it pause at touching flag and entering stage
Just Fixed That Its Finally Done
i've been messing with loads when entering levels, and it actually varies by a few frames. Not sure if this is because of lag from the video or the game lagging.
Edit: It's different for each one
have you guys checked the game's code? maybe its just a frame timing/lag issue.
@TheIslander it could. but still, that is 13 seconds where the game is loading. also the way we have been retiming runs was garbage. my wr when I retimed it (first frame mike is in the hub, last frame is first frame when mike is touching the flag, it came out to 3:34.400. we just need to fix our lrt timing in general. this 2 second difference crap won't cut it anymore
If you could, check the games code first. if you find anything in the code that COULD this then i will change IGT up. thanks for letting me know about this.
however if you don't find anything, its probably out of our hands.
Completely forgot to mention this, but we now have our own Category Extension leaderboards! Check it out here:
