The title says it all: "What would Any% look like without gambling?"

I would love to hear in-depth theory-crafting about the most efficient way to make the requisite cash up.

I'm trying to recall, when I think I practiced my runs, since practicing with gambling is inefficient, I basically spammed stickbucks then went to gym in the morning/afternoon. Repeated it until I had enough strength for the police/hitman job, then basically ran them until I got enough money for everything, and then finished the run normally. My fastest time was around 14 or 15 minutes. But yeah I think this would be an interesting run category, and for me at least, it was wayyy more fun to play this way.

I would guess going for trophemon is quite a fast way to make money, like you can get 3000 from 3 trophemon without spending much. But then the fourth trophemon costs like 2k iirc. I think if you compare the route between h-dot's 7:32 and the current run, the main time saver is getting the skateboard. Faster transportation makes a huge huge difference to how fast the run completes, since essentially most of the run is moving across the map lol. So maybe a route that goes for the hoverboard as quick as possible?

Unrelated, but do you plan on doing runs of this game @TheOGMiyagi? Would be really exciting to see some new competition in this game lol

Though is the positive/negative karma you get from the first text box enough to satisfy the stat requirement for police/hitman?

@Arod My first instinct was to hunt down the Trophymon too, and thank you for highlighting the concern with chasing the 4th Trophymon. I also agree that early hoverboard is ideal, and doesn't All Trophies buy the DVD after the pizza strat to facilitate this strat? Would we want to buy the DVD after StickBucks Spam if the goal is to get early hoverboard? Or would that category need to switch to going for the Pizzaria?

Lastly, I intend to get a 'boarded run on Any% & Marriage before trying my hand at a restricted Any% time, as described in this thread ;)

@TheOGMiyagi I can't really remember how it was exactly done, since its probably been like a year and a half, but you only need to have positive or negative karma respectively to get the job and promote. The amount of karma doesn't matter, so you can just use real/fake ids to switch karma between jobs if you want to promote one. Main focus though, is just the hitman since it has 6000, 7000. 9000 and 21000 bonuses. Also, I just remembered using three trophemon as well for quick initial cash as well, that is definitely the best way to get cash early and consistently.

@TheOGMiyagi In my all trophies run i buy the dvd and get skateboard later and I can't remember exactly why. You can just go straight into the skate shop and buy the board which costs like 235 iirc. Maybe I wanted to conserve money early on? Honestly can't remember.
