So I am stuck on the stardust speedway act 2 fight with metal sonic the beginning is fine run and dodge metal sonic but then what do you do in the 2nd phase when he is dropping enemies? I keep killing them but nothing happens. What do I do to proceed

Spin dash the enemy he drops when its in a ball and bounce it into him
