Recently I've discovered that if you got a low cannon and used the wall near the finish line as a ramp to launch you upwards you could skip a few turns using the speed of the cannon. I also managed to skip all the way to the cannon. Is this no glitch viable or is it considered a glitch?

I suppose it's to the discretion of moderation, but I would count that as a glitch. It's a bit hard to define in a really broken game like this, but I'd say it goes against the intended course path and skips too much of the track.

What you did in your run was fine. You didn't built up speed via respawns, no road bumps occurred, and you didn't skip an entire lap. Sorry for the delay in verifying your run.
