Hello there, i have created FCEUX Lua Script for Helping to achieve wrong warp easily.
i need people to test it before i will add it in resources tools.
Script Includes for Level 4-2.
Mario's xPos : xPosition of current player. Last Bump : How many pixels by last bump. Pixels Needed : Pixels needed for Wrong Warp to work.
For 8-4
Current Area : Current Area of Player is in. Area Needed : Area Needed for Wrong warp to work.
How to Run script in emulator.
1.Open FCEUX Emulator. 2. Then Click File>Lua Script>New Lua Script. 3.Choose the "SMB1_wrongWarp_4-2_8-4.lua" file. 4.Click Run .
NOTE : In order to work for both world 4 and 8 you need to re-start script when you will reach world 8-4

ur my hero i tried to figure out for hours if i had the right xpos in my tas run but because of ur lua script i knew i was 3 pixels off thanks so much my man
He was just saying thank you lul.
It'd be really cool if we could have a pellsson style rom where it's guides you on how to FPG right, but instead for 2 bump in 4-2, and including on if you want to get the juicy 11 pixel bump
There is indeed like a million ways to get 10 pixels 2X in a row, but I highly doubt that there are many ways that it's possible to get an 11 pixel bump, since I've rarely ever gotten it
But what would actually be more useful than doing 2 bump method fast 4-2, would actually be a 2 bump method LIGHTSPEED 4-2, since that would also be very very strict on how you can do it (the underground fast accel is super precise, and I haven't even been able to TAS the perfect first bump, I've been one frame too slow.) this is an example of the start of lightspeed 4-2, I don't know if you would use this but hey look wo
@zsjetu9 Maybe that is what you have to do, I really have no clue how to do the 2nd fast accel in warpzone
Any% (NTSC) runs below 4:57.000 must now fulfill additional requirements in order to be verified.
- The run's full session must be included in the submission description.
- For emulator runs below 4:57.000, some form of input display must be visible for the duration of the run. A hand-cam or input
