I have added a no major skips category for races, major skips are considered skips which take you off-track (ie can result in timeouts), you can discuss your thoughts on this category in the forum post.
In order to apply IGT w/ MS to the new IL categories the changes had to be made that effected the entire board.
When you submit a new any% run (or any run for that matter) you will see an IGT field with MS options. You should be leaving this blank unless you are submitting race category runs. As long as you leave it blank it will not show up on the leaderboard.
You do not need MS on any non-racing runs.
The new proposed rule would be to reject/modify runs for races that don't have skips and are submitted in the no major skips category.
My motivations for this are a variety of reasons you can view in Discord or in the thread, overall I believe it will improve the quality of the leaderboard.
