For 100% you will need all 4 keys. You'll be tempted to get them all as you go, but you will want to skip key #3, as it will block the way to key #4. Once you have key #4, start-select out of the level, and go back for key 3. Once you collect it, you call start select out to save it, and finish the 4th sand 5th exits
