Struggling a bit with installing the RDR2 autosplitter into Livesplit (or at least getting it to work). Tried updating my version of Livesplit, and running it as an administrator, however my runs still aren't starting by themselves. I downloaded the autosplitter file from Github and copied over the RDR2.asl file into the Components folder in Livesplit (found a video tutorial which recommended doing that). Would appreciate any assistance!

Instead of downloading the file yourself, set the autosplitter through Edit Splits and setting the game correctly. You should get the text "Automatic starting, splitting and load removal" at which point you should get a couple of buttons (activate, settings, website) - use the first two to configure it. That's the main supported way to use it and ensures that you're up to date.

If 1) you do that 2) you are not playing a cracked copy (which will not work due to differences in the exe) and 3) it still doesn't work, let us know here or in the discord.

Now I see where I goofed up. I didn't have anything selected for the "auto start" setting. Thanks!
