Recently, I submitted a run and video where I did NSMBU Any% Normal in New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe in 58:19. In reality, my last hit on Bowser was at 58:19.2, but I stopped the timer at 58:19.8, so I can sort of understand rounding it to 58:20. But I swear I put in 58:19 when submitting the run, but my time on the leaderboard was delayed by 3 seconds, so it displayed 58:22. So, I’m confused about what could have happened for a 3-second delay in the time. Does anyone else know?
Don’t worry my messages wasn’t an angry message I was just confused because my speed run was trash and was over an hour and when I checked after it was verified it was shorter
When I retimed your run using the video you provided I got 58:22 so I resubmitted your run as 58:22. I don't remember seeing an sort of pauses in the video.
As for your run BOLTZ, your time included the intro cutscene which (if you read the rules) is not considered apart of the run. Because of this we retimed your run from the very first input on the world map. That is why your run was like 2 minutes faster
