Here is a 'detailed' guide how to run the 1 star town ?

TIP: Do a run casually, when the game didn't load the map yet and you just started up your Wii, it will be laggy and long loading screens. When doing a run before-hand, the loading screens will be faster and less laggy in the next run.

• Pass through the town and character creation, not changing anything.

• Talk to the Mayor

• Give Form to the Mayor

• Built your house (1 block, 1 door)

• Fertilize Apple tree

• Fertilize Yellow Blossom (4 Yellow Blossom essence)

• Fertilize Apple tree again (You should have 10 apples now, if not, reset run)

• Be nice to Mayor (or Poppy) (2 Happy essence)

• Talk to Mayor

• Built Workshop (1 block, 1 door, 1 hammer)

• Built table and place it in your house

• Talk to Mayor

• Workshop built Stage

• Place Stage at the Mayor's house

• Talk to Poppy at the Flower Shop

• Make Flower Stand and place it at Poppy's house

• Talk to Poppy again

• Make bed and place it

Congratulations! You just finished your first run ^^

The game has some RNG in it, Poppy and the Mayor could sit on a chair so it will take longer to interact with them. It is also possible you only get 9 apples instead of 10.
