Hey, wondering if there could be new city runs introduce or races to specific locations on the map and or just generally more runs for players to complete which do not take hours to finish. As an example there could be a leaderboard here on Speedrun.com of the Top Gun Maverick missions which already have times recorded by the game. This would also allow Xbox players to compete without needing to find a way to record there time on longer runs and to record them itself as xbox has limitations on length of recording unless you have a external hard rive which limits the amount of people who can compete in these speed runs. There could also be different categories for a smaller selection of landing challenges which people could compete in, these could be 3-5 specific landing challenges which could be themed together or by locations. I would be willing to help with coming up with ideas and listening to other for runs as I believe this game has great potential for speed running.

This limitation on Xbox is the only reason I haven't been able to compete in runs for MFS which I am really interested in competing in.

I would be happy to add these, my only concern being a way to find cities and specific challenges without being too arbitrary. The categories I’ve added have been as close to “complete the base game” as possible. I have nothing inherently agaisnt the ideas you’ve presented so long as they don’t open up a rabbit hole of “what about this location” so we don’t clog up the boards

ive added segment runs for famous, epic and strong wind challenges. ive also filled up the IL board and made a discord for the game. an alternative to recording for the longer categories is twitch streaming and highlighting

I like the idea of shorter runs. The All landing challenges is a fun one but to have individual times for each would be an easy way for everyone to optimize times
