those are cars not allowed in the https://www.lfsworld.net page hotlap charts
i tried saving replays in mrt rallycross and it works just fine :p, but ofc the page wont allow them, maybe this is the fitting place for those kinds of runs?
there could be an argument made about adding another category like this, however i think it'd just be an "individual level" leaderboard if anything because of the possible car/rx track (30 in total) combos
also fun fact (that i forgot ages ago), you can have rx/non-slick road tyres on a GTR-class car with the "ALTERNATE" config in the setups menu:but either way...
GTR-class cars handle... fine? on dirt (and to be honest i played with default setup cloned to use the alternate config for tyres, and max steering angle)
-
FWD cars are fine but when you go on tarmac you're going to understeer for years
-
RWD cars are a nightmare to control on tarmac, and GOOD LUCK trying to keep them from fishtailing on you (the XRR is easier to control for that matter)
-
the only AWD (the FXR) is... actually the easiest to control, so if anything's going to be fast it's this car
the open-wheelers have the opposite problem though - they fishtail insanely on dirt, and they don't even have dirt tyres available (probably because they were only meant to be driven on tarmac tracks? :P but for the setups i just went with the road supers since that was the only "road-legal" tire available)
-
MRT is a complete lost cause without a reverse gear since if you get put into the wall you just can't reverse and get back on track
-
the FO8 in particular is an absolute nightmare to control, too, regardless on if you're on or off the dirt
-
the BF1's default traction control literally prevented it from going past 110kmh on BL3 (the rx track that i used for testing and writing this post) so it should either be turned off or made super insensitive lmao
and that's really the end of my insights, if there's anything i missed then uhhhhh idk sorry i didn't test that as well while doing this lol, and also please send a reply if i should try anything as well
TL;DR; yes it's possible but it'd be hell to handle on 7/10 cars
