I’m patch 1.1.0 a new mechanic called double undering was added where you would be able to do jumps even faster although even though it was in the name, you would not get 2 points per double under, however, you are able to change that. Double Under Manipulation or DUM for short is the current fastest strategy allowing 2 points per jump. How this exploit works (to our current knowledge) is, you perform a normal jump followed by a quick double under to cancel the jump and then repeating the process. While the tricks mechanics may be difficult to understand the way you perform it is actually quite easy. There aware multiple ways to perform it, such as in pantry’s form of using single joycons but personally I find using the joycon grip the easiest as you are able to do a quick flick of the wrist for the double under and then moving it back for the normal jump. Don’t let the complicated nature of the trick dissuade you from doing it yourself, all it takes is a little bit of practice and you’ll have it in no time.
