Hello everyone, a lot has changed recently, so I'm coming in here to update you all on the state of things.
First, let's talk about the updates to the board. To start, we've merged the two timing methods back together on the leaderboard. Rather than having two separate times for every run, times using the In-Game Time (IGT) method take priority and are displayed instead of times using the Real Time Attack (RTA) method when possible.
A new annotation on every run will make it easier to identify the timing method used in each run's time.
The No Major Glitches (NMG) category has been removed but in its place is a new NMG subcategory for every existing category. All runs that were submitted into the NMG category have been moved to the appropriate categories under the NMG ruleset. This is only a change to the way the leaderboards are formatted. No rules have been changed.
Now we need to talk about IGT.
Every run that was in the queue has been retimed RTA despite its placement or requests for a manual retime unless it used the provided ASL load remover with livesplit. In which case a manual retime was not necessary to verify the run's IGT time.
Now with the queue clear, in order to prevent it from freezing up like it did, we are going to change the way we handle manual IGT retiming.
First of all, console and mobile runs do not need to be retimed to IGT and so will be excluded from receiving manual IGT retimings. Only PC runs will be eligible for a manual retime.
The top 10 runs of each category will no longer be automatically qualified for a manual retime. However, this may change in the future.
!!! IMPORTANT !!!!
If your run was only retimed to RTA you may request for a mod to manually retime the run to IGT however we ask you only do so under the following circumstances:
- Your run is not already obsoleted by another run you have in the queue
- You do not plan to do another run to get a better time in the near future
- You have a reason to believe that a retime would push your run up the leaderboard
If your run that you request to be retimed meets all of these requirements it will be placed on a list to be retimed in the future. You can request a manual IGT retime by messaging me here on this website, messaging me on discord or by asking through the description of your run if it is yet to be verified.
However, there is a very simple way that you can bypass this process and that is to use the provided ASL load remover which is easily accessible and downloadable through Livesplit and can also be downloaded in the resources tab of this board. Retiming a run to IGT manually will put it in a queue to be retimed but that queue will have a lower priority than the simple verification of runs in the standard queue meaning it may take a while before it is retimed.
IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO WAIT FOR YOUR RUN TO BE RETIMED
It is highly recommended you start using the ASL with Livesplit so that your loads are removed automatically and your run can be verified as IGT quickly.
I believe that is most of what needs to be communicated at the moment. If there are any questions about the changes please, make them known. Otherwise, the queue is clear, so have fun running!

Hello all, I'm just coming in here to inform you all how things are going and why so few runs have been verified recently.
The change to IGT (In-Game Time) has recently been the main factor in the slower pace of verification. The most recently verified runs have been done almost exclusively by yours truly as I've led the charge in this IGT change. Because we have organized for runs to be re-timed manually, making sure the guidelines we use are accurate and consistent has been a large part of the work that's been done.
But that's not all. To make a long story short another recent change in staff has caused a little bit of turbulence and confusion which has essentially frozen the queue. We aren't short-staffed but we need to reorganize a little bit, so that's what we're doing.
We will get to verifying all your pending runs as soon as possible, we are committed to getting that queue down to zero. To be honest, I probably want that more than some of you do ;)
All in all thankyou for being patient, if you can handle waiting just a little longer I promise everything will be sorted.

Hey everybody, one small thing to mention. The note Petrichor mentioned will only apply to runs submitted AFTER the date of HIS announcement. All runs submitted before that date will be retimed by Moderators.
An update concerning IGT retiming
Hello everybody! As you may already know FFPS is adopting In-Game Time (IGT) as the primary timing method on all leaderboards. This of course means that we (The FFPS Mod Team) have taken it upon ourselves to retime runs to IGT that don't use the game's Auto-Splitting Language (ASL) including those already verified which is a lot of runs.
This however is a very large task requiring a lot of work on our part. To give an example, a recently verified run required the removal of 94 seperate loads, each of which needed to be scrutinised frame-by-frame and recorded manually which takes a lot time.
I'll spare any more details for now but effective immediately we will only be retiming the top 10 runs of each category to IGT. If your run does not sit in the top 10 you can request for your run to be retimed to IGT, if you do, please message me or another one of us here on SRC about getting it retimed. This change will only apply for PC runs.
I hope this is understandable. Have a great day and have a great time speedrunning :)

Hello everyone, very quick but extremely important announcements.
We [the FNaF 6 Mods] have heard you. We have decided to change FFPS's ruleset to use an IGT timing across all leaderboards. For any runs that do not use the Autosplitter found here, please only fill out the "Time" field of your run, and not In-Game Time. We will manually do that calculation for you.
Next order of business. We were made aware of the monotony of having very bland glitches in the game's runs (notably by user PetrichorEssence), so, after some internal discussion, we have fleshed out and added a new NMG (No Major Glitches) category. This ruleset is still new, so expect some potential changes in the future.
Lastly, 2 quick shoutouts. First, to the new Verifiers that have done a STELLAR job handling the Speedrun.com (SRC) queue, making it less stressful for all of us, Mods and Runners.
Secondly, to this wonderful community, for your willingness to work with us, and your dignified manner I have personally come across through SRC's Message System. I am glad to have all of you here, and be able to keep such a fantastic group of speedrunners happy. :D
Enjoy your FFPS speedrunning journeys, everybody! <3
