I don't know exactly how much but what I do know is that you lose over 15 seconds before gameplay even begins so yea, PS2 loses a whole chunk of time.
Yes it is. I've never tested the game on a PS3 so I don't know how much time that saves over a PS2 (or if it's faster than GameCube).
For general info the latest model PS2 (9000 model) has the fastest loads of all PS2 models and I think PS3 is on par or a hair faster than that model. There's 2 types of BC PS3, one that has real hardware and one that emulates (think 80GB is the emulator one) however GCN is still superior and again you're just learning the game so don't freak out over loads just yet :)
I am aware of the 2 different PS3 models. I just mentioned that I've never tested the game on PS3 so I don't know how it compares to PS2 or GC. It would be faster than PS2 (maybe even GC) although I don't own the PS2 version so I can't test or compare.
This should remedy all of the potential issues that we would otherwise have with the All Main Missions format.
