Doubt anyone will ever reply to this due to mods being inactive for years, but is the timing in this game based on RTA or IGT ?

Based on the Bronze runs it looks like RTA

all runs are RTA

In full-game leaderboard everybody used RTA, in IL I guess you could IGT since the game has one already in it that seems precisely and there's nothing saying you need to use RTA in the rules. The problem is: will ever moderators approve new runs os respond to the foruns lol? Mine is pending for like two-three weeks

I'm keen on Excitebike 64 but no idea on what either of those things mean 😆

So RTA is Real Time Attack, and IGT is In-Game Time. For example, most games that are speedrun will go off Real Time, to account for load times, but other games, like Mike Tyson's Punch Out, and 2D Sonic games will go based on the in game timer.

Still need to work out better recording equipment etc first though.
